New Parents
WE ARE SO GLAD YOU HAVE JOINED US!
Here at Pack 3837, we're all about family! When you register your child for Cub Scouts, everyone becomes a member. Parents, guardians, aunts and uncles, grandparents, godparents, and (of course) siblings, are welcomed and encouraged to join in on the fun. Not only will your Scout make new friends, but you'll find that you do as well. That atmosphere is something we're very proud of and look forward to each year.
Now that you've registered, you may be wondering what to do next. Here are the Pack 3837 1-2-3's for getting started!
SCOUTBOOK: A few days after you submit a youth application, either paper or electronic, your Scout will be registered with Pack 3837. Bay Lakes Council regularly syncs their records with Scoutbook, the program we use to communicate with families and track your Scout's advancement. When that happens, you'll receive an email asking you to connect to your Scout's account. It's very important that you open that email and follow the instructions.
FACEBOOK: We have a private Facebook group (NEED LINK) for families only. This group is where we post photos, event reminders, share events, and more! You need to be invited to this group by a member or request access. For the privacy of our Scouts, we are very careful about who we provide access to. You are welcome to invite grandparents, aunts, uncles, godparents, etc. Please let us know in advance by sending us an email at Pack3837@gmail.com or making a post in the group - that way we don't deny them access. Join us there when you can!

There's something for everyone, like how our Pack is organized, how we communicate, what you need to buy for your Scout, uniforming requirements, what our Pack dues are, and more.
We've said it before and we'll say it at least a million times more, we're so glad you've decided to join and trust us with your Cub Scouting adventure!
